Learning is not just studying
I train every day. I can't imagine doing this job any other way. When I discovered Unix I thought: "how is it possible that someone designed this so well." Since then I haven't stopped admiring good engineering. But that's only half of it. The other half is managing people, egos, expectations and everything no course ever teaches you. That's learned in the trenches. And I've got more scars there than badges.
